By using StopSure ("the App"), you agree to these terms.
StopSure is a stop alarm for subway and light-rail trains. You save the stations you want to be alerted at and turn StopSure on. While it is on, the App notices when you are on a train, listens for the station announcements and follows the timetable in between, and alerts you — with vibration, an on-screen card and, with earbuds connected, a voice — as each saved station comes up.
StopSure is meant to help you not miss your stop. It does not replace your own attention, and you remain responsible for getting off at the right station. An alert may come early, late, or not at all — for example when an announcement is unclear or missing, the train skips stops, runs express, is rerouted or delayed, or the timetable has changed. Please don't rely on the App alone where missing a stop would have serious consequences.
Stay aware of your surroundings and follow the transit system's rules and staff instructions.
Station lists, lines and timetables come from data published by the transit agencies and may be out of date. StopSure is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by MTA, PATH, CTA, MBTA, BART, LA Metro, SEPTA or any other transit agency.
The App relies on your phone's hardware and system behavior. Results may vary with your device model, Android version and settings; for example, battery-saving features may stop the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
StopSure is free to download and use. It has no ads and no in-app purchases.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including a missed or late alert.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
